Question

Part Configuration, AnyBOM and Revit

Hello everyone,

new company new challenges.

I am "very" familiar with the concept and the tools from PTC to implement product configurators be it at WTpart level, CAD or when both interact (Bottom Up and Top Down approach) and the use of AnyBOM when using Windchill and Creo.

I am a lot less when it is about Revit instead of Creo.

I know there is a workgroup CAD Manager for Revit but as far I am concerned it is more to allow Check in Out and does not allow the same level of integration than the Workgroup CAD Manager for Creo.

I am wondering if anyone as used AnyBOM with Revit as at the moment I struggle to see how we will be able to configure wtpart and get the 3D models automatically generated as I have done with Creo.

Thanks

Hi,

You can try the Revit Workgroup Manager for Windchill developed by SrinSoft in partnership with PTC, to synchronize all your Revit files to Windchill along with the reference files, drawing sheets, BOM, etc. You can even publish the Revit file as a Creo viewable. You will find more info here - https://www.srinsofttech.com/revit-windchill-plm-integration.html

Hope this helps!!
