Problems changing the available materials in ProductPoint part properties?

I found in the Home>Site Settings>Site Column Gallery that I can select on Material and then I can change what items are available from the drop down list. However when I change this it does not make any change to what is available for Material when editing part properties.

Any Ideas, do I need to create a new site for these changes to take effect? I would hope they would push to all sites.

Looks like this is a bug in the SW there is a SPR on this now.

From PTC:

"Customer reports that even after removing the Choice of material from the “Material” column, the Edit properties page still shows them and even allows the user to add that material to the CAD object.Even adding a new material does not show the same when you edit the properties to select the list of Materials available."

After further investigation, I have filed Software Performance Report (SPR) #2035039 so that our Development team can investigate this issue further. This SPR has been filed with 3-HIGH severity.
