Product Structure Browser Rendering time for Initial Loading

Is there a way to reduce the time to render a structure in the Windchill PSB in a new browser session?   For this scenario, it could take up to one minute to render a structure in the structure tab.  Subsequent structure render times are acceptable (3-6 seconds).   Looking for info on how the initial structure load time can be reduced.

Kirk,

Are you also experiencing delays when expanding branches on the first level sub-assemblies?   We don't depend on the structure tab yet, but it would be nice to get your question answered as we have the same issue.  In our case, we have disabled the "visualization" sub-tab as it was causing loading issues with our massive assemblies.

Take a look at article CS171822, which contains performance recommendations for the PSB, as well as information on SPR fixes for PSB performance issues.

If you're using Internet Explorer, then also take a look at CS46526. This article contains some suggested registry settings that help with IE's performance when rendering certain pages, like the Structure tab.

Kirk,

Did the above referenced articles help with the PSB load time? Let us know if you're still seeing any issues with the PSB.
