Product Structure Geometric positioning best practice

Hi All,

As the title says really, does anyone have any documentation they can share on Product Structure part positioning strategy (including Occurrences).

A particularly complex scenario I am trying to get my head around, is the control of position of a fastener used in multiple product locations and across multiple product platforms.
