ProE errors

Good morning,

A number of our users have reported and issue attempting to check out items int o their workspace. This does not happen to everything, but the individual files it does happen on gives an error for everyone. In this case users get the following error:

"A check out function was called with no objects to check out"

I am new to the software, so I am not even sure where to begin for possible resolution.

Any help would be appreciated

You could check the Method Server log on the Windchill server. If a corresponding error message is being logged to the Method Server, then that may give a better indication of the cause of the error.

Thanks, but this is an old version 3.4 of ProE/Intralink. They have not migrated to Windchill yet

Colin, are the objects being selected for checkout already checked out either by that user or by someone else? Do these users have permissions to check these files out?
