Publish simplified reps

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.8 We would like to manually publish specific Creo simplified representations. This can be done for Creo assemblies: In the step "Choose Structure Type" of "New Representation", we can punch in the name of the representation. However, for Creo parts, the input field "Creo Representation" is missing. Missing Windchill feature? Configuration issue? The following articles indicate that it may be the former, but would like to confirm: CS349953, CS244759. No article mentions the worker specifically.
