saving solidworks files out of windchill

Is there an easy way to save solidworks files out of windchill? When we have assemblies with parts and drawings we open each part and drawing etc individually and "save as" and into a folder on computer so we can send files to customers. Is there an easy way to save assm/parts/drawings out without have to do each file?

Yes, you can export from the workspace.  Just add everything to a workspace that you need to send to the customer and then use 'Tools' --> 'Export from Workspace' from the workgroup manager.

Now a follow up questions. By putting the assembly in workspace it brings all the parts along. Any way to pull all the drawings from those parts into workspace without putting each one in.

Definitely.  When adding the assembly to the workspace just set 'Drawings' to 'All' under the 'Collect Related Business Objects' section on the 'Add to Workspace' page.

The other option is to go to the folder where these files are stored, select all of them (including the drawings), and then add them to the workspace that way.
