Selecting the Assignee for Analyze Problem Report task manually

Version: Windchill 12.1

Use Case: Our design and ECM processes requires us to have multiple different people analyzing Problem Reports depending on the project and or product the problem is related to. We don't want to include all the possible people in the group that will automatically get the Analyze Problem Report task because it would clutter the task lists of non-relevant people.

Description:

We would like to be able to select the assignee/assignees for the Analyze Problem Report task in the Problem Report creation process case by case. At the moment the Analyze task is automatically pointed to all the people who are defined in the workflow as the Assignee in the Participants.

Is there some way to make the Problem Report creation dialog work similarly as the Change Task creation dialog, where you can select the assignees and reviewers with the user search tool (or better yet, from a participant list table)?

A relatively easy way would be to add a task in the workflow after the Problem Report is submitted that goes to the creator (or potentially someone else if desired). You could make that a "set up participants" task where the person then chooses the appropriate user(s) for the roles used later in the workflow.
