Solid Edge St5 integration with Windchill 10.1

Hello All,

We are using Solid Edge and Windchill.

Does anyone have experience with the integration of

Solid Edge with the Workgroup Manager of Windchill with the CADi extension of KPIT?

I am interested in sharing expiriences and knowledge.

Hello,

I tested the workgroup manager for SE6.

this solution is functional, with limitations imposed by PTC.

these limitations are for all non Proe connectors (information KPIT).

I tested the CADWORKER, workflow etc. (result ok).

This connector don't modify PDMLink or Data base,This is important for upgrades and support.

In PDMlink the connector add only xml files and Icones for describe the SE object.

In SE you have the same fonction with Proe, load upload etc..

I did some basic tests, the next step test with CAD designer in real condition.

Because i 'm not a designer.

Last week we had a Leadership Review meeting and decided on the fate of CADi. KPIT will continue to support integration between SolidEdge and Windchill via our product CADi.
