Solr with 12.0 PDMLink

Recently did an upgrade of PDMLink 11.1 to 12.0 on a test sever, and we wanted to re-index all of our Solr entries. Running Solr on a standalone server, and deleted the existing entries to start the re-index. All of the entries are failing. Double checked the connections and made sure the Solr admin and password match on the 2 servers. i know you now longer have to create the cores, but was wondering if I should blow them away and do a manual build. Just inquiring to see if anyone else has experienced this. Many thanks in advance!
