SSL Certificate request "Apache-SSL (Ben-SSL, Not Stronghold)” or “Apache/ModSSL

I am helping set up a new Windchill server and we are going to use HTTPS connections and need SSL certificates. We created the CSR files needed using Apache and when I went to my certificate provider, I am presented with the following choices:

  • "Apache-SSL (Ben-SSL, Not Stronghold)”
  • “Apache/ModSSL"

My question is which one do I choose?

You want "Apache/ModSSL". ModSSL is the ssl module used by the Windchill Apache. Apache-SSL is an alternative to ModSSL, though it's pretty outdated.
