Start with empty participant list in CN

Dear all, 

 

We have a CN procedure configured with two change tasks. In the change tasks 3 participants need to be selected to perform a review task.

 

By default there is already a complete group selected for one of the review checkboxes. Is it possible to start with a complete empty participant checkbox overview?

Are you referring to the Assignee/Reviewer section? I think these only are setup to accept a single user, not a group. Unless of course you customized the workflow with a new workflow task that will take a multiple people as input. I think it would be easy enough to just test. And I would suspect it would not care since there is an option with change tasks to not have a reviewer.

Thanks for your reply, I added a screenshot below for clarification.  Two types of reviewers need to be selected, coming from different departments within the company.  For the operation-review people can be selected from the "Operations Group"  and for the design review only people from the "Design Engineers Group" can be selected.  

My problem is that if I start a new CN and edit this task by default the complete Operations Group is selected as Operations reviewer. So at the start of every new task the users will have to deselect this group and select a single person. 

I am told it is not possible to change this (I don't know why anymore)

I see you are using setup participants and did you add those groups to your team or add roles to the CA workflow? I was just playing with CN templates. I was able to save it with the assignee and reviewer blank but if I edit it, it defaults to my name. I could go into the Type Manager and setup as optional reviewers but I will have to test that first. I do not want it to default to my name since a user is likely to leave it and I get all the tasks.
