Supported way to create a Creo Illustrate C3DI from Windchill PVZ/GDD without manual Save/Check-in?

Is there a supported generic service or API equivalent to MPMLink/SIM New Illustration that creates a C3DI from an existing Windchill GDD/PVZ source and preserves Source/Image via Direct Connection/WGM, without user Save/Check-in?
