Uploading new revision

I received new models/drawings with the same file name as others on Windchill. I would like ot keep the file names/numbers the same becouse the new files are one revision higher. Ho w do I keep  the files names/numbers the same but with different Rev?

  1. checkout existing models/drawings to workspace
  2. revise
  3. import new models/drawings to workspace
  4. checkin

    When importing them to your workspace, you can select add as modified to make them the new revision.   Ensure the files that you are updating are in WIP within windchill.

    Thanks for the help it is much appreciated. didnt realize you were able to add as modified. I thought it would give me a event manger error of not unique.
