Use of Windchill to resolve the BOM for all customer order

Is anyone using Windchill as a BOM resolver for all customer orders? Would like to get some insights.

Our product structure is a fully configurable overloaded platform. We use O&C, assigning Usage expression to the bom elements (solutions) and .set up configuration rules.

The issue is that this is manually converted/copied to our erp system and Sales configurator systems that currently resolve the BOM.
