Question

Using Creo Illustrate offline and update s-BOM structure to Windchill

Hi

We have a workflow, where we download the design from windchill as pvz file. Importing it into Creo Illustrate.

In Creo Illustrate, offline mode we are creating an s-BOM to define the assembly sequence, and work centers. Creo Illustrate than capable to export the created sequence (s-BOM) into xml file, OR without the CAD association, it can export it into csv files.

Our question is, is it possible to upload the data into Windchill automatically (via the xml file), or only manually it is possible? Thank you.

From "Help Center" - "Overview of Creo Illustrate Integration with Windchill Service Information Manager and Windchill Service Parts": https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.1.0.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/sim_partseditor/sis15131.html#

Hi Vladimir

Thank you, I found it before that we can export the xml part list from Windchill (and import into Creo Illustrate):

Generating XML for Creo Illustrate (ptc.com)

However I am looking the backward operation in our workflow... when we export the xml from Creo Illustrate, and import it into Windchill. Is it possible?

Thank you.
