WBM Error Revise transitions not defined for latest version in life cycle template

We are receiving an error loading data using Windchill Bulk Migrator. The error is, "Revise transitions not defined for latest version in life cycle template." We have defined Revise transitions in every state, however. The full error is....ERROR postprocess.WbmMigratedInfoPostprocessor - Error reported for com.ptc.windchill.migration.wbm.transaction.MasterStagingRecord@47ebea2e, objectType:WTDocument, stgId:145 => Message: Resource bundle/Message key = wt.lifecycle.lifecycleResource/222
(wt.lifecycle.lifecycleResource/222) wt.util.WTException: Revise transitions not defined for latest version in life cycle template.

Any help is appreciated.

I've never used the bulk migrator...but there are a couple of things you might want to check.

  • Can you manually create objects in this context without getting this error?
  • Is the bulk migrator attempting to set objects to a state that doesn't existing in your lifecycle template?
  • Is the OIR in use for this context pointing to the correct lifecycle template?
  • Is is possible that you need to update the lifecycle template on your template parts (.prt, .asm, etc.)?

I also ran into this, and solved following these steps.

  1. identify which lifecycle are being used by WTDocuments
  2. Edit the lifecycle and select each state
  3. For each state set the transition called "Revise"
  4. When you have completed the loading you can go back and reset the transitions to what they were.
