WfPropagationQueue severe entries

Version: Windchill 12.0

 

Use Case: WfPropagationQueue severe entries.


Description:

Hi,

 

I am working as an Admin. i see there are 10000+ severe/failed entries in the WfPropagationQueue.

is this concerning? what should be the normal value and how to keep the Queues healthy? please help me understand if any procedure i need to follow. see snap attached.

 

Release: 12.0.2.7

you can delete , any entry needed will  be recreated

severe and failed entries can be deleted with no concern they will be recreated , as you have +10000 entries , you may use the utility to reset them in bulk  : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS134506

    Hi @Fadel ,

     

    thanks for your response. i see an option here to reset them see snap Queue_1.jpg

     

    i have reset the Queues from there but still the number didn't reduced.

    Thanks , I see now that the entries are in ready state , however it seems there is an issue with argument :

    try to run the tool again and this time delete entries instead of reset .
