wgmclient.ini location

Team,

The WGM config file wgmclient.ini is located in the Windchill Workgroup Manager home directory, which is under C\Program Files\ so admin privileges are needed to modify it.  

Is there a way to override it using a file somewhere else, preferably in the users' folders?

The wgmclient.ini can be read from the folder specified by the environment variable PTC_WGM_STARTUP_DIR, if a wgmclient.ini file exists in there it takes presidence over the one in program files. Usually that folder is a subdirectory of the wgm_root though.

Hi @rleir 

If you install WGM you can set location where the application is stored. 

So I guess that if you change installation location then also ini configuration file will be out of the Program Files folder.
