What are the Windchill software's & types of licenses required for Windchill 10.2

Hi All,

We would like know what are software's and types of licenses required for for installing Windchill 10.2 M030, Cero 4.0.

 

We require this information because we are planning upgrade Windchill solution from 9.0 to 10.2 MO30.

You'd want the software matrices document. 

(M030) Windchill 10.2 Software Matrices 

There is one for every version. That's an old version you got there. Are you planning on stepping through upgrades to get to a supported version? If so, you might not need to be on 10.2 for long enough to care.

Windchill 10.2 does not use licenses. You don't need to worry about licenses until you get to 11.1.

Customer should have bought the license for Windchill. Also Maintenance should be paid if customer needs to upgrade to new version. 

 

PS> PTC Licensing is a mess 😄

Very true.

Licenses are still required for ALL versions of Windchill, just that there is no license checking software in the code before 11.1.
