What is the difference between a calculated link and a content link?
Since upgrading from 9.1M030 to 9.1M062 we now see CAD drawings assoicated to WTParts via a link type called "calculated" when previously it was the passive link type "content"
I found a little bit of information on the PTC site about this but it does not explain the reason for the change
https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS11410
https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS21363
Can anybody shed any light on this. I presume this is simply to distinguish between content links created manually/deliberately and those created automatically by the system resulting from the owner link between the 3D model used on the drawing and a WTPart.
I need to decide whether or not to convert them to "content" or leave them as "calculated". Are there any implications to doing one or the other that I should know about?
Regards
Darren
