when add Windchill doc to a CN, if already exist on another CN, can an alert be implemented.

Question

When an user is adds windchill doc to the affected or resulting object field of a change activity which is within the change notice, is there somekind of popup alert notifying the user that the windchill doc has been already placed on another separate change notice.   Currently, (see screenshot below) there is a symbol next to the Windchill doc showing it exists on a change notice, but looking for somekind of visual popup notice letting the user notice that the document already has been placed on another change notice.
 
Any suggestions or ideas on how a visual popup can be implemented?

You can use the Pending Change flag based on state.

You will need to have states in the workflow that the items move to.

If you are revising in the Chane Activity, the current Version should be locked, the next version that is In Work (or Draft etc) would not have a flag but you can only revise once from the submitted locked version. When you complete the Change activity task, you could then lock that version and again set it to a state that has a Pending Change flag.
