Winchill Service Temporarily Unavailable

Hi all,

Do you experience this kind of error while opening windchill? After how many days of not opening the server because we re-arrange our office, now I cannot log on windchill and it prompt me in the browser "Service Temporarily Unavailable" The server is temporarily unabel to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

The server is up to 1 hr now and I get the same error in my browser. Please help.

Seems your Webserver is not running, when you type the Windchill URL (only the server name) without the "/appname" (usually /Windchill) will you get the "It works" feedback?

Hi Cruz,

It's may be due to problem with Web Server.

Check whether Web Server is properly running through URL entry.

Also, check method server whether started properly.

You should be looking at Method Server logs located at Windchill/logs directory. It will throw light on why the application is not running

I get '503 - Service Temporarily Unavailable' when we open "~~ServerLink~~/Windchill/App".

It shows 'It Works!' message when we open only "~~Serverlink~~".

Please guide how you resolved it.

I checked Directory server & windchill service. Both are working.
