Windchill 12c SendMail error

Version: Windchill 12.0

 

Use Case: Every mail being set out from any user gets the following message in the queue entries Invalid substitution syntax, "[" missing, near line 107 of /windchill_home/Windchill/tasks/wt/mailSendMail.xml I have checked with Notepad ++ and cant find any miss matched brackets. This file has not been edited and is the original from the install. Is this a known bug?


Description:

Every mail being set out from any user gets the following message in the queue entries

 

Invalid substitution syntax, "[" missing, near line 107 of /windchill_home/Windchill/tasks/wt/mailSendMail.xml

 

I have checked with Notepad ++ and cant find any miss matched brackets. This file has not been edited and is the original from the install.

Is this a known bug?

Has this worked before then suddenly stopped working? Any system changes? Possible there are special characters in email addresses that are being processed? Just throwing out ideas since I could not find anything in knowledgebase.

    Hi, fresh install, so it hasn't worked at all. I have thought about special chars being sent into the xml and have looked but we carefully selected our passwords for that very reason
