With the 13.1.4 patch there were some “enhancements”  made to the rich text editor.

There is increased functionality allowing users to embed images directly into the fields, but we are noticing some unwanted trade offs already. The text box is smaller. Change Notices that have a lot of text are now reduced to a smaller viewable box, where 13.1.2 it was almost double. Users also cannot select words or lines out of the text box, but the entire field of text.

Is there any way of getting around this? Reverting the field to a plain text field is not an option at this time.
