Version: Windchill 13.0

 

Use Case: Installation is Aborting. The following logs contain information that may be useful for diagnosing installation problems. Please include them in your support requests. C:\ptc\Windchill_13.0_1\SQLServer\installer\logs\SCU_PtcInstall.log C:\ptc\Windchill_13.0_1\SQLServer\installer\logs\SCU_InstallLog.xml

Installation is Aborting.

Resolution:

  • Incorrect  SQL Server Data File Directory path value is provided while executing PSI
  • Correct path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL15.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA

This is a user community of users helping other users. For an installation issue, it is better to open a help desk case with PTC so one of their support engineers can help you resolve the issue. You do pay for support, so use it!

You did not provide enough information for any user to even guess as to where the installation failed or why.
