windchill commonspace folder cannot be displayed community

when I click on windchill commonspace after changing my network from VPN back to intranet in my office, I see an error:

it actually worked when i changed server to offline and back to online.

Obviously, there is a network interruption but its possible the server connection has gone offline. I would check Server Registry and possible toggle it offline and then back online. See if that works.

Our VPN does this as well.. when you switch, your computer temporarily disconnects and reconnects. Creo will go to offline mode for any internet interruption. Once offline, you have to manually go back to online mode. It doesn't attempt to reestablish the connection on its own.

Hello @SM_10773308 

From my experience if this error is shown and Windchill is online, the local Creo cache is definitely corrupted 

So usually you need to delete the local creo cache and register the server again. 

 

the OOTB place is in the user's temporary file location

C:\Users\userName\AppData\Roaming\ptc\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf
