Windchill Digital Signature bring with Creo 2D Drawing

Hi Everyone,

I’m looking for a way to bring the digital signature from Windchill User Details into Creo, specifically into the 2D drawing/drafting page.

The requirement is that, once the Promotion Request is completed, I want the Approver and Reviewer signatures from Windchill directly on the Creo 2D drawing.

Has anyone implemented this? Please share the recommended approach or any reference/configuration details.

What do you mean by Digital Signature?
Does it mean displaying the Approver and Reviewer names on the drawing?

Hi @TDT Thanks for the response.

Whenever we create a user in Windchill, we add their digital signature. I want the same signature to be automatically updated in the Signature column/table of the Creo drawing after the Promotion Request is completed.

Do you want this signature only on the generated PDF, or should it also be displayed in Creo View?

Hi @TDT Thanks for the response,

I don’t want to use the watermark concept. I would prefer to implement this through Creo View, as handling multiple formats and sizes makes it difficult and complex to position the signature correctly.

Hi @Amirtharaj_K,

If you prefer to implement this using Creo View, the signature will not be available in the generated PDF from worker.
For PDF watermarking, you would need to use either AEM or the Windchill Watermark Extension.
