Hello,

I wanted to know the feasibility to control the actions under Configurable Master Links tab based on the object state and user role using Profiles functionality, can this requirement be achieved by configuring the Profiles?.

Please pour your thoughts on the same.

Thanks

Sha

Hi,

Profiles are aware of only the pre-loaded Actions (OOTB), as far as I know.

Since your Actions for a Configurable Master Link is a customization, you need to add validation code(For LC State and User Role / Access) on when to show your custom action.

By this you can complete this in one shot instead of tyring a work around just for the visibility of the Custom Action.

Cheers
