Windchill Risk and Reliability - Execution Timeout Expired Error During Heavy Calculation/Reporting

Hello,

I am receiving an "Execution Timeout Expired" error in Windchill Risk and Reliability while performing a large-scale analysis/calculation on a complex system architecture.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the relevant system tree / project.

  2. Run the calculation/report (e.g., Reliability Prediction / FMEA / RBD analysis).

  3. After a certain period, the application throws the "Execution Timeout Expired" dialog box (Please see the attached "Error.PNG").

  4. Error Message: "Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."

Hello,

Thank you for following up, and I apologize for not replying earlier.

I have tried the suggested approaches and performed additional testing. While some of the recommendations helped to narrow down possible causes, I am still encountering similar system errors, including execution timeout issues during large-scale calculations and reporting activities.

At this point, I have not been able to identify a definitive root cause or a complete solution to the problem. The issue appears to be related to system performance, processing load, or timeout limitations, but further investigation is still required.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide suggestions and assistance. I appreciate the support from the community. If I am able to determine a confirmed solution, I will update the thread with the details.
