Windchill search assigned usage/item expressions and in-line applicability

Hello,

As we work towards our EPLM journey to author OM, WSM content, it would be wonderful if we could add applicability in ATX that is then searchable within Windchill or searchable item/usage expression.

We do not currently tag all of our topics with attributes at the topic level (it would be a tagging nightmare) so looking for an alternative.

This will allow the team creating new publications to look for reuse content easier. For example, if we have a new model coming out that reuses an existing 9.8L engine. "9.8L" is tagged in-line, as well as at the topic level as an assigned item/usage expression. Would be wonderful if we could search the expression "9.8L" to find relevant content.

NOTE - we are authoring task topics with text, not generating parts/CAD/etc. like a typical Windchill user.
