Windchill - workflow robot fails due to method not found

Windchill 8.0 M020.
Anyone seen this before.
A workflow robot fails due to no such method exception. See image below
But here's the thing. The method does exist and has been working fine for
years.
We opened the process template and "Checked Syntax". The robot compiles
fine.
We then:
stopped Windchill
deleted all expression class under ...\codebase\wt\workflow\expr
restarted Windchill
the robot now works.
