wt.folder.FolderException

I have set up a new user in Windchill to just review and print parts. Issue I'm having is when I go to create a workspace for them to check out parts then I get an error and the message is wt.folder.FolderException (much longer than this). Is this a permission issue?

If the user is view and print ( and has that license) then they cannot create a workspace. Nor can they check out anything. Its just read only. They should be using Creo View and they should be published so they can view the published content of drawings and models.

Thanks for the reply. What would the minimum setting be? I want them to be able to check out, pull some dimensions if necessary but not make any actual changes.

Windchill Advanced and Creo Data Management. Aside from deny rights to stop mods, this will allow to make changes. You should really have them use Creo View since they cannot make changes, need a cheaper license, and do not need to use a workspace. Dims and measurements can be done there too.
