WTPart check-in operation fails as it's associated with the CAD

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.19 We have a WTPart associated with a CAD part. During a checkout/check-in operation on the WTPart, the checkout is successful; however, the check-in fails and does not complete successfully. Here are the errors that I faced Cannot checkin unless modified parts/documents "XX_XXX_XX_0_00.prt, 00.3" are also checked in to update the associations.
