1. What happens during the build of WTPart structure of a CAD Assembly when few of its components are present in different container/folders than mentioned in the part_creation.xml configuration.
2. Is it safe to stop the utility its execution in between and resume? How to stop the utility?
3. Is it recommended to execute the Part Creation utility in the live Production environment. Do anyone have any experience of it?

1. If the parts are not present before creating the structure it will be missing from the eBOM. You can check this after by comparing wtpart structure to cad - then rebuild the structure. Kind of a pain, but it's what we had to do. Start with creating WTparts for all .prt cad files in the system, then assemblies without lower level assemblies. You should be able to minimize issues that way.
2. When you say stop, you mean stopping during number 3 (create new parts)?
3. We ran the utility on the test server 4-5 times before I was confident with the outcome, then ran on production without issue.
We had over 250,000 objects in the system before wtparts - took 12.50 hrs to complete on production.
