I have a WTpart that has a visualization of certain CAD document. When I check on related objects , all CAD data has owner and Image association. I want to access the owner CAD and I believe Owner CAD is available since WTpart derives visualization from owner CAD. How can I access this CAD doc?

The visualization can be propagated from the Image link if owner does not exist.

In your case there can be several reasons why you can not see the owner object.
1. The owner association does not exist
2. You can not see the target owner object based on missing permission
3. The object is in a context where you do not have an access. Similar to the second reason.
