Attributes only update on WTPart if the CAD Document is an assembly

Hi,

 

Just checking to see if anyone else has experienced this before.

 

I have mapped custom parameters in Creo to Windchill EPMDocuments and Part in the Type and Attribute manager.

 

Now, when I check in an assembly from Creo the corresponding attributes get created/updated on the CAD Document as well as the WTPart in Windchill.

 

However, when I check in a single part the corresponding attributes in Windchill only get created/updated on the CAD Document but all of the attribute values on the WTPart is blank.

 

In all previous experiences the mapping has always worked on both assemblies as well as single parts.

 

Anyone perhaps an idea of what I am doing wrong?

Hi @Pieter_Du_Toit ,

 

Check if setting this preference EPM Service Preference > Build Service Preference > Attributes to be published on Part from this KB Article: CS35624 would help here
