Attributes Sync between WT to CAD

Hi Guys,

One WT Part with CAD is assciated each other if i change the attributes in WT Part not updated in CAD. How we can over come this issue. [First time which i enter that value and attributes came in CAD, but only thing edit in WT part is not updated in CAD]

Hi @Amirtharaj_K

You have to use a function "Publish to CAD" for propagating the attribute change to CAD from the WTPart

Hi @HelesicPetr thanks for the replay

CAD software is AutoCAD

Step 1 check out the WT Part modified and then check in to Windchill.

Step 2 Use the Publish to CAD option to publish

Step 3 You mean it'll updated in the AutoCAD file. [It's not updated on my case]

Maybe it does not work for AutoCAD. ask PTC support.

PS> PublishToCAD propagates information from WTPart to CAD Document and then

Workgroup manager does the propagation to the model.

This is not a customization question, rather CAD interaction/integration.

The type of association between Part and CAD controls the synchronization. Also there is a topic called Attributes mapping between part and cad.

How are you changing the attribute on part? Are you using the collector?
