Can we create DocumentUsageLink via API or do we need custom Java Services?

By extending DocUses domain you can enable DocUsageLink creation, as of now it supports reading structure of documents.

Copy Paste DocumentUsageLink.json and js files to custom folder following same hierarchy then update json to include Create/Update actions

Use hook methods processAdditionalAttributes, saveObject  to create link between objects
