Can we load batch(multiple) of attributes?

Is there a way to load batch(multiple) of attributes in XMLs(layout) or directly to Type & Attribute management?

If this somebody has figured out, then please let me know. I'm aware of exporting a type, but all the attributes have then first be added manually.
