Collecting configurable links

Version: Windchill 12.1

 

Use Case: collect document if parent is WTPart and child is WTDocument


Description:

Configurable Link Collection Sample UI I got the sample UI under WTPart Actions->Collect Configurable Links.

I'm able to see the icons, but upon adding a WTPart and trying to collect WTDocument which is a child of this part, the collect icons do not work. Is there any thing I need to define for this type of link for the sample UI to work?

Silly question, but do you actually have some configurable links set up and populated with data? 

 

If you have, try setting the methodserver log level for com.ptc.core.collectionsrv.engine.Query to ALL (in Site -> Utilities -> Server Status  -> Monitoring Tools -> Log Levels), then click the button again and see if it spits out some info into the log files. You should see some SQL if the definitions are set up correctly, or possibly some error messages, might give you some clues what's up.
