Configurable Describe Link tab not Visible in child object

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.0.2 I created a configurable Describe Link for two document subtypes. For the parent document subtype, the Describe Link is visible in the UI. However, for the child document subtype, the Describe Link is not visible in the UI.
