Filter search for Alternate Boms

I’m currently doing some research about alternate BOMS in Windchill. I was able to create a structure with different BOM configuration & I was able to modify the BOM of each configuration separately.

Now, my question is, for a same view type (ex: Design), it is possible to filter the configuration options result when searching for a part? Whenever search for part 3011810, I get result for configuration null, 001 & 002. Ideally, I would like to be able to search for a particular configuration without having the others in the search results…

Hi Mathieu,

For the view, you can simply add the Criteria View=Design in your search.

Hi (sorry for the long answer)

The issue I'm having is that I can only select DESIGN as a search criteria, I don't see options to search for specifics alternate Boms.

As an example, I can still see alternate Boms 001 & 002...
