Getting attribute value from task

Hi community!

I want to get the values of some attributes from the users from the task.
When I define an attribute to the activity, I do this by selecting the required option, but when I do this, it wants to get that value as mandatory.

How can I make attributes mandatory in task?

    So you need to change it in the workflow variable.

    would you share some screenshots to better understand the issue (change task /workflow task ) , are the task using change tasks templates  ?

    Hi @Fadel,

     

    I add a variable in the task as shown in the picture.

    Since this makes the variable mandatory, it is necessary to close it after filling the text box.

    But I want users to leave it blank whenever they want.
