It depends how you define the table, but generally you call a JavaScript method to reload the table.

function submitFilterSearchParametersEdit() {
 var params = {
 editComents: "true",
 avTask: "<%=avTask%>"
 }; 
 PTC.jca.table.Utils.reload("cz.aveng.Table.AVCustomTableBuilder", params, false);
}
