i am unable to get custom variables on task page of workflow in proper alignment. So what should i do to bring them in a proper format?

Are you using native task form templates?  Or just the normal task page?

Have you tried to use Type/Attribute Manager > Work Item > Layouts > Task Info Page Layout, and modified the layout how you want the information to appear?  I'm not sure what your question is.  Do you have a screenshot?
