Is it possible to send file(eg.pdf file) using ESI integration?

Hello,

I knew that we can add many new attributes to send to ERP system using ESI Integration (Distribution Target). Is it possible to send stream data (for eg: PDF file) using ESI integration?

It is possible.

In Olympus, Japan project  team in 2009 solved using ESI to send file.

If you are PTC employee, directly to ask that project team leader.

Hi Saravanan Kuppa Mohanram,

To be honest, I do not have much expertise in this area. But as far as I know you can only send metadata and not actual data. From Windchill side, there is no option to achieve this use case.

However at TIBCO middleware level there may be some option to get it done. You can explore this way from TIBCO.
