Java issues

One of the most annoying things about Windchill has got to be its interface with Java.

Just finished re-hosting Windchill/Intralink 10.2 M030 to a test system and would like to look at the "Vault Configuration" but something regarding Java is not working?

I believe I'm running the correct non-latest version (7.0.790). I have the correct "Exception Site Lists" defined.

Prior to posting I have spent hours searching for solution but nothing has worked?

May I ask what are the key steps to properly get this to work?

Could you post a screenshot of the error you see in java console or even paste the log

Just got it to work. As much as I felt I had the correct out of date Java installed of “Java 7 Update79 version 7.0.790” I just uninstalled that and installed “Java 8 Update 77 version 8.0.770.3” and now what I need is working.
