LDAP server admin password recovery?

I need to add a task delegate and I am prompted for the LDAP server admin credentials. Is there a way to look this up? We had had consultants perform the install, but the username and password that were provided do not work. Is it possible to make the changes locally on the server without having to login?

I should also note that this does not connect to our corporate LDAP server so maybe it was never set up?
