Make attributes read-only in Windchill UI but still be able to populate/edit from Creo

Hi,

 

Just want to find out if someone has tried such customization before.

 

We would like attributes to still be populated/edited from the Creo side but it should be read-only in the Windchill user interface.

 

I have played around in Attribute manager but making settings read-only there then prohibits Creo from being able to save to Windchill.

I just notice there is no edit layout for EPM Documents, as this is done in WGM . So instead you may try to change the Visibility for edit from Read/Write to Hidden value. Then it shouldn't be possible to change using WGM, and still be possible to change from Creo.

Give it a try.

One idea could be to remove it from edit layout. I haven't tested.
